On July 16, during the inauguration of the fountain of St. Anne in the newly created garden outside the sanctuary, several special activities planned for the Novena and the Feast of St. Anne were presented to the guests who were specially invited to the ceremony. One such event will be a new Sound and Light show, which will develop the Novena's theme, “350 Years: Awake to the Light”. The Novena began on July 17 and will end with the Feast of St. Anne on Saturday, July 26.
Paul McCartney’s concert on the Plains of Abraham was a huge success. The crowd was pumped up for a night to remember. They came for a great concert and everything went smoothly from start to finish.

La Ville suggère fortement à la population de planifier ses déplacements pour cette journée et d’utiliser les services de transport en commun pour accéder au secteur du spectacle. En collaboration avec le poste de radio CFOM 102,9 la Ville diffusera régulièrement, au cours de la fin de semaine, des bulletins actualisés d’information sur la circulation et le stationnement.

Wow! Well, let me say that the Image Mill will definitely be a blast. I can hardly believe my own eyes... and I haven't even seen anything yet! I did see Robert Lepage though, and he told me just enough to get my imagination all fired up! It's really too bad that summer is still so many months away.
